Re: America /= US government
I'm a little confused jv. Are you saying there wouldn have been less innocent lives lost if we hadn't have dropped the a bombs. Should we have just stopped fighting them? Should we have let Tojo and his military continue fighting? I would think that somewhere around 1948 there would have been about ...

Re: Eliminating Teacher Tenure, Good idea or bad idea?
I've taught for a number of years. A few years ago I retired from full time teaching because of ieps (tooooooo much government!). I now substitute because I still love it. It is a joy to me to run into students. I worked in a school that got rid of 3 tenured teachers. They weren't fired just pushed ...

Re: How bad do we miss Chris Collinsworth?
I'd like to know if Lloyd regrets his move to another school. I don't remember his new team but its a long ways from the top 10.

Re: Is Fredette the Greatest to Ever Play in Utah - Poll
As a kid growing up in western Montana I listened to games on the radio. There was a kid playing center in football for Anaconda. He was 6'4" and 245 lbs. I thought he was headed to the Grizzles for football. In basketball he played the same position, center, and poured in the points. I was ama...

Re: Can we give the POY and NBA talk a rest?
I don't mind the media re-hashing this stuff everyday as long as the players remember they have a big game at The Pit tomorrow. We talked about CSU being a trap game, but this one is much more so since all of the hype has hit a peak this week that is wholly unknown to the BYU basketball program. Th...

The osu kid has about 37%. That seems amazing to me that a player from byu or the intermountain region could get that much more votes than a player from a bs c school.

Re: Trap Game in CO
Right! I'd really like to have one of the others score as many as Jimmer but I'll take a win any way it'll come. I wonder what this team would have been like without Jimmer. I am confident they'd still be winning a lot of the games. They are a very good team, close to the best ever at BYU. I guess w...

Re: Trap Game in CO
This game is no longer a trap game (if it ever was, and I don't think it ever was. Dave Rose is a good coach, and will have his team ready as if their lives depended on it every night.) Now that CSU "upset" UNLV, the Cougs have even more reason to be ready for the game. We win this one ea...

I don't like the jets but I'm very happy they beat the pats.
