Re: First NET Rankings Out
Sad, but it looks like Wednesday night's game against USU is a guaranteed loss and Saturday against lowly Utah is a toss up at best. Perhaps Emery will make a difference, though.

BYU's next head coach is gaining additional experience
Paul Peterson is the new head football coach at Dixie State. Dixie is heading to D-1 as a member of the WAC. I still like Hill, but he's probably the new HC at Utah St.

Re: Famous Idaho Potato Bowl roll call

I live in Boise and was taking an afternoon nap.
I woke up a few minutes ago and one of the first things I did was read this thread and I thought, "Who'd go to a sucky bowl like that? Boise in December? I live here and wouldn't want to attend." Then I remembered that bowl games were supposed to be announced this afternoon so I looked to ...

Re: We Lost to Weber St.
We sucked. But on a just realized bright note, Christmas is just three weeks away. Despite the contract extension, perhaps Rose will be let go. That would have to follow a meeting with BYU's president. Does President Worthen share President Bateman's temperment?

Re: Last year my brother in law from Philadelphia sent
Me a lot of BYU gear for Christmas. Until recently I was hoping for more of the same this year. Today he asked my wife what I wanted for Christmas. When she related the message to me, I said send me some Temple University gear. They're pretty good in both football and basketball. I don't have a str...

Re: This guy is our best option
I'm usually extremely optimistic, but the Utah State games and Northern Illinois games changed that optimism. Even though I was wrong about losing to either UMass or NMSU, the Utah game once again showed the ineptitude of our coaching staff. 2019: We lose our first eight games, go 3-9, and perhaps g...

Re: This guy is our best option
I think BYU should look for someone like Coach Edwards who I'm quite sure had a recommend. Maybe Sitake can grow into that I don't know. I assume by BOT you mean the board of trustees which is the first presidency and the apostles. I think they would prefer someone like that. The Board of Trustees ...
