Re: Eric Mateos following Grime to Baylor
They announced they were looking for Pugh's replacement, so it seems that ship sailed.
All the better for BYU, though, if we could get him. He was Grime's first choice, after all, and he's been here before, so he knows the deal.

Re: Cool non-football story coming out of the Coastal Carolina trip
Great story. My wife happened to run into Fonda Bryant in our local Wal-Mart a few weeks ago and got to chat with her about it. They started talking because both were wearing BYU attire.

Re: Coastal Carolina Game 11 2020
Because of the way they're selling the tickets in groups, I have a 4-pack when I only need two. If anyone else local to the area (or planning to fly in) wants a deal which includes sitting close to my wife and I, I'll let the extra two go for my ~stubhub cost+fees, AKA $450 each. Upper 214 - Row R I...

Re: NY6 Bowl
Yeah, being in the top 12 makes it possible, but realistically, BYU needs to be in the top 10 or even 8th or 9th in order to be sure of an at-large spot, due to the possibilities of a conference champ or other team from above getting an available spot instead of the #11 & #12 teams. If the Coach...

Re: It's game day
Which has a higher pay out? Based on last year, playoff is about $6M, regular NY6 is closer to $4.5M. Notably, if you go to the playoffs, you don't get extra money for winning and going to the final game, nor for winning the whole thing. All four teams split the money equally. Of course, who knows ...

Re: USA Today Article
Yeah, schedule just enough P5s to make the schedule "respectable" alongside teams like BSU and AAC-level opponents, so maybe 3-4 with at most two in a row.
Then in a "bad" year you can win 7-8 and in an undefeated year have something of a claim.

Sack and stop on defense. 2nd offensive play, Algiers runs almost the whole field (86) for a TD.
Excellent start.
