Re: When Do You Play Mangum?
Playing Mangum occasionally doesn't mean you are running a two QB system. If Mangum is definitely not going to redshirt then you play if every game if you can to give him some live action and hone his skills too. I think Detmer will play Mangum when he can, afterall, Mangum is Detmer's future for 20...

Where is Trinnaman? He's not on the two deep roster.

Re: Preferred Walk-ons coming out of the woodwork
BYU doesn't really need QBs right now, they have three sophomores to be--and they are good ones. These QB walkons are just insurance and...you never know. And there were plenty of offensive scholarship guys signed today

Re: Spring Ball 2015
Who's bright idea was it to move Kaufusi to linebacker anyway, that seemed pretty dumb to me. He is clearly not a linebacker, but he is clearly a DE. Strange that he would be moved to linebacker when BYU is always pretty loaded at linebacker anyway; we are not so loaded at DE.

Hal Mumme and Lavell Edwards

Hal Mumme is credited with today's modern passing game...but Mumme credits Lavell Edwards and BYU. Nice article with lots of BYU references.

Re: Mark may
Aside from Mark May; Houston was (is) a very good football team. Yes, maybe we should have beaten them by three or four touchdowns, but Okorn did not throw an interception, H did not fumble, and they took three away from us. I don't believe BYU got lazy. There were a lot of other very good football ...

Re: Favored in Austin
If Hill throws for 300 yards and runs for 100 yards, the whuppin will be worse than last year in Provo. But I expect UT's defense will be better than last year...and I expect BYU's offense will be better than last year too. It's at Texas, so give Texas 7 to start the game. I think we'll see a simila...

Re: My Taysom Expectations
Well, Hill will likely out rush all those QBs combined. If he can throw for 3000 yards and 30 TDs, he'll be a Heisman candidate.

Re: Open Practice News
Just don't run right and throw on the run. Eliminate those throws and he's pretty accurate.
