I disagree. Hall was right there, and only let up when it was clear that Allgier was going to take him down. And had he kept sprinting, he would have overrun the play and not have been in position to recover the fumble. Two thumbs up for Allgier, and one for Hall.

Wow, I am totally shocked that Santa Clara won the NC. When I watched them get beat by BYU, they did not look like a top 25 team to me. Soccer can be so frustrating to watch. More than any other sport, in soccer you can totally dominate and still come away with a loss.

Hopefully it won't be de ja vu, with UCLA winning the "play in" game and then knocking BYU out of the tourney.

Maybe the 6 seed went to our head, but at the same time, the "11" seed we played went to the elite 8. Maybe even further, TBD.

craziest stat I heard was at the beginning of the UTSA game when they pointed out that Wilson had as many TDs as he had incompletions, 11, on the year. At the time I assumed passing TDs but I guess they included his rushing TDs as well, but still...

The environment at games isn't what it used to be--at all sports events. The exception being men's and women's volleyball. The fieldhouse still rocks a great crowd most every game. $5 general admission and you're a lot closer to the action than at football or basketball games. And they rarely lose....
