Re: This BYU team is finally playing really well
It's always about the O-line. Zach is standing back there looking for guys to complete passes to. This Oline is a wall. Love the way this team is playing right now. That’s just it. Any QB could have had a good three games against the last three opponents with this year’s O-line. But I doubt you cou...

Re: This BYU team is finally playing really well
Wow! Okay the other games I thought were all O line. This game is CLEARLY all about Zach. Amazing performances.

Re: This BYU team is finally playing really well
The typical script for a BYU team is that the Cougs either play a mediocre game or, heaven forbid, they lose it. Embarrassingly. Here’s hoping all this week’s talk about reliability and execution and so forth means this team is different than teams past.
So far, end of first quarter, I’m nervous.

KW needs some help from who?
I found it amusing to Consider that Utah’s best chance to get in the playoffs would be for Clemson to lose. Unlikely as that is, one man that stands in the bestposition to make that happen is ...HA... Bronco Mendenhall. Making the big leap that Utah beats Oregon, it is less likely that the CFP commi...

What was the real fluke?
Watching the USC game in 3Q Troy up 21-10 I’m feeling suddenly optimistic about BYU vs. Washington. If you believe, as most sports media do, that the U dominated the Y in their first game simply because they are just that good, then Utah shouldn’t be challenged right now. But if Utah beat BYU mainly...

Am I the only one?
My prediction: BYU is going to win the game tonight. I am the only one that seriously believes this and can say it without cracking a smile? Everywhere you look it's "Utah is FAVORED and don't you forget it!" Hard to remember when the BYU fan base has been less vocal--late Crowton days per...

Sympathies
To admin/hosts:
Not sure what kind of work you have to do to overcome the mess of eight pages of ad-bot posts, hope it's not too much. My sympathies for your struggle.
Great board over the years! Thanks for your work keeping it going!!

Re: Wisconsin win turns out to be more significant than previously recognized
It's actually a really worthwhile thing to point out. Just consider this. What would have happened this year if Zach had been named starter from the beginning. We all heard the coaches were considering that, just imagine what might have happened. The one thing everyone pointed out about Tanner in th...

Re: There is no parity in College football
I don't like the repeat matchup, but how can you take it away from them? Notre Dame had a legitimate team and all the opportunity to change that outcome. Got to give Dabo Swinney his props for the win. Oklahoma showed an inkling of hope near the end of the third quarter, but the OU defense just wasn...

Re: Is the board too Optimistic/Pessimistic?
Most responses on the board are reactionary. Hindsight and recency bias are the order of the day. Not too different from any other message board really. What surprises me is how easy it is to focus on the headline news. The week after the Cal game BYU's coaching staff was terrible. The next week the...
