DB Shamon Willis is leaving football to move on with this next phase of his life. He would have been a senior this coming season. He played the 2018 season at Weber State before spending the next 3 years with BYU.

RB/DB Sione Finau has entered the transfer portal. He had 3 appearances in 2021 after switching to DB. He was a starting RB in 2019 before tearing his ACL, and only had 12 rushes in 6 games in 2020.

DB Keenan Ellis is medically retiring from football. He never recovered to the point he was cleared after his early concussion against Arizona last year. He is involved with the team as a student assistant until he graduates in April and could go longer if his law school application is successful.

Jay Drew confirming that RB Tyler Allgeier, C James Empey, WR Neil Pau'u and DB Matthew Criddle have announced they are moving on. Nothing official yet from JT Gentry, Drew Jensen, Jason Money, but I've been told all three are almost certainly moving on.

That really just leaves Gunner Romney as the big question mark for next year.

Backup QB Baylor Romney is moving on from BYU to the "next challenge". Doesn't indicate the portal but he's been in the program for 4 years and may just be graduating.

UPDATE: Romney is in the transfer portal, but maybe to just see what offers come. He would be a grad transfer if he continues to play.
