You and I are on the complete opposite side of the spectrum. I remember seeing KS when he was at Utah and he had a hard nose look and feel to him. I remember thinking that's the kind of attitude and fire I would want to see as a head coach. Instead he comes to BYU and now he looks and acts like a soft spoken mild mannered seminary teacher. Bronco did the same thing. Remember when he first got hired and went on about all the religious babble and references. Yes they work for a religious institution but come freaking on its football not Sunday school.I was in favor with Anae as the HC at BYU before they even hired Sitake (over Sitake that is). Sitake was a huge mistake. Everyone thought he would come in here and get BYU to Utah's level because he was a Whittingham protégé, well that isn't the case. The guy was not a successful coordinator (away from Kyle) and he has been a failure as a HC. I wanted Ken N before Sitake, I wanted Lance Anderson, Bevell, or basicly anyone besides sitake. The best scenario was to appreciate what we had so he didn't feel the need to leave but that (as everyone likes to point out to me), is in the past. Oh well, I guess we can continue to watch Virginia's rise and BYU's fall. Too bad I'm not a Virginia fan.Yes, absolutely YES! What drew me BYU is the pass happy offense of the early 90's with Ty Detmer. I have ZERO interest in a triple option offense. There is no guarantee BYU wins with that type of offense and how long will it take to get those types of player to run that offense in the program. Why? The triple option?Hard pass on Niumatalolo.
What about Anea? Look what he's helped accomplish at Virgina. It doesn't matter if he's an A hole with the administration and the media. All that matters is he runs an offense that is a proven winner.
