Whew! I'll sleep better tonight. Huge gets. Can't wait to see these guys in BLUE!!!

HArmon has some very good things to say about Pau'u. Stronger than 3/4 of the top MLB at BYU? wow.

Apparently the "Mom's" called Bronco and "had that chat." Their concerns quieted - the commitments secured! This is GREAT news!! Two really good gets. Sweet!

Nice article in Desnews describes how each of the 2 recruits feels about their decision.

Is there any place better than BYU that can sweet talk the moms?

Hell to the No!

BYU is the place parents want their kids. Even yewt fam moms would be more satisfied with kids having degrees from the Y.

Yewt fan's moms would be satisfied if their kids would even get a degree.

Back during the Brandon Davies issues, Bill Simmons had a podcast about it. He said he had already broken the Honor Code 3 times during the podcast, but that he wants to send his daughter to BYU in 14 years.

I would also like to point out that this is the second devout Catholic that has committed this season. This reaffirms my belief that the Honor Code is ultimately an asset for recruiting. There are schools with better undergraduate studies, better locations, more exciting cities to live in, better sports facilities, or more tradition. But on the major college football level there is nothing like BYU and its Honor Code.

Can Honor Code enforcement be improved? Honestly I don't know...I never dealt with it. But I am open to changing how the Honor Code office works, but don't touch the Honor Code. It may be the biggest advantage BYU has.

So... with four LB commits in the last couple weeks, what does this mean for Adam Ah Ching?

Talk was that BYU was going to cap at 19 for this class. So we have 5 more. I think the focus now in on Fanaika at OG, Hinds and Biegel at OLB/DE and Williams at RB. Perhaps a JC corner as well. I am sure they back-ups, but I think Ah-Ching is on the short list.
