Easy answer. Jacobsen will have the most yards, Chambers will have the most catches.

If McKay plays in the slot, he will have the most catches. And yards. He will be a beast from there and create some nice mismatches.frdbtr wrote:Easy answer. Jacobsen will have the most yards, Chambers will have the most catches.

Yeah, there's no question, it'll be McKay, regardless of where he plays from. Quite simply, he is just the most experienced and best receiver on the team CURRENTLY. But if you want the receiver with the 2nd most receiving yards this year, I'm guessing it'll be Apo, if he truly is 100% healed. There have been lots of positive things said about this kid right down to the MWC media days. He has speed to burn, catches everything, and will not get much double coverage, at least early on.
If we're talking most receptions, it would still be McKay but might be followed very closely by O'Neill and Luke. They are all going to be very dominant this year and will give whoever our QB is a lot of great options. We could easily go three deep with receivers this year who could start/heavily contribute at any other team in the MWC.

Just my opinion but from watching last year, I get the feeling that Jacobsen is going to be our "stretch the field" guy and Chambers is more of a 3rd down move the chains type of reciever. That is why I think Jacobsen will have the most yards but Chambers will have the most catches.

Jacobson, easily.
Both yards and catches. He would have led both last year if he had not been hurt.
Look at 07 and 08 with Collie and Reed. Jacobson will get more than Chambers.
