BYU one of the three prizes of conference expansion talks

"-- Notre Dame, BYU and Texas, the biggest prizes on the cash continuum"
Not a bad list to be included with. When analyzing things from a money standpoint, not Sunday play, it should be obvious that BYU should be top of the list for the Big 12. BYU should also be top of the list for the Pac 10 as well...

Re: BYU one of the three prizes of conference expansion talk
Ray Ratto is a sports journalist in San Fran, an has mentioned BYU as the logical pick for PAC10 expansion before. He also knows the anti-LDS sentiment in his area, but thinks it is stupid, if your expansion is about $$$ in the first place. The PAC-10 taking utah over BYU is like the SEC grabbing A & M instead of Texas. Sure you get into a market, but you get the #2 draw. If this is about $$$, BYU should top the list for the PAC10. But the PAC 10 is stupid and we all know it.

Cal and Stanford are the roadblocks for BYU in the PAC-10.
