Factoring in the latest BYU announcements and the Big 12 release of 4 years of conference opponents, this is what the BYU schedule looks like over the next 4 years:

9/20 - @ East Carolina

TBA - West Virginia

With only 11 games, BYU needs 1 more home game. Perhaps a H/H in 2025 and 2026 is coming? OOC games are FCS Southern Utah and @ East Carolina. A P5 opponent would be nice here.

This season is interesting. As it stands, there are 7 home games on the schedule. 11 games are announced so they need 1 more road game. OOC games are FCS Utah Tech and USF. Another P5 road game would be ideal.

2027
9/4 - Weber State

BYU needs to add 1 more road game. OOC games are FCS Weber State and SMU. Again, a P5 opponent would be ideal.

Here are a few ideas for filling those openings:
Utah State - They have openings in their schedule in 2026 and 2027. They already play @ Oregon in 2027 so may be a good candidate for a 2026 game in Logan and a return game after 2027.
Boise State - They have OOC openings in 2027 so may be a good candidate for a 2027 game in Boise with a return game after 2027.

There are also a few Covid-cancelled games that could still be rescheduled if not already cancelled. I'll have to review P5 teams who have matching openings later this weekend if I find the time.
