Is Ed Lamb the new scapegoat?
It looks like Kalani is utilizing his friends to point out that it's not actually Tuiaki who is in charge of the disastrous defense this year, but is in fact Ed Lamb, even though none of us have ever heard this before.
To me this tells me that Kalani is gearing up to fire Ed Lamb but wants to get the fans on board. This is pretty similar to when the friends started mobilizing about 2/3rd of the way through the season against Ty Detmer in 2017.
Maybe I'm just a paranoid conspiracy theorist though?

Seems like he's a friend to Kalani and Tuiaki, according to his comments and he wants Ed Lamb fired rather than either of them.

Firing Lamb but not Sitake or Tuiake would be like removing a wart from your foot but not a tumor from your brain.

Ed Lamb is the only guy I would retain if I had a voice. He is the only coach on staff that has run a successful winning organization. This is so typical of losers. Blame everyone but yourself. There is no way Ed Lamb is calling the defenses, what a freaking crock.

Re: Is Ed Lamb the new scapegoat?
Sitake is like, everyone is an idiot except for me and my bud and that's why we're losing.
He can't pick on Grimes. That dude actually came from a winning program at a school Sitake can only dream of being water boy at.
Sitake won't blame his bud, and he certainly won't blame himself. That leads Lamb.
I suspect, if there is any shred of truth to Ed Lamb being involved it's because Ed Lamb is being trying to actually salvage the program and be the coach this team needs.

Re: Is Ed Lamb the new scapegoat?
The only part of tweet that makes any sense is where he says
"we need to put more money into recruiting is a huge issue and the other is that under the current wages that byu offers, who will you get that will improve things?"
Yes who will BYU get to improve things? Which of the 3 realistic people who check all the mythical box's can BYU afford (choose to afford) and better yet who even wants to come and try and turn BYU around with all the current issues and restrictions?
I can't help but feel doom and gloom anymore when I think about BYU football. A friend who is a die hard says it would be easier to watch them close the program down then to keep watching them slowly bleed out every weekend. I don't feel that way but I understand where he's coming from.
