Who gets seeded higher
Who do you think gets seeded higher, UNM or BYU? Unless BYU wins the Las Vegas Invitational I think UNM gets seeded higher.
RPI Rankings:
UNM - 9
BYU - 19
UNLV - 34
SDSU - 42
RPI Top 50 Wins:
UNM - Cal, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, SDSU, UNLV
BYU - UNLV, SDSU

Unfortunately, both Arizona teams have fallen out of the RPI top 50 as has UTEP. This could potentially change by the end of the season, but it's looking more and more like our best wins will be against UNLV, SDSU, and UNM (knock on wood). A Las Vegas Invitational championship would help us out a lot. If we win out we'll head to selection committee with a 10 game win streak.

Re: Who gets seeded higher
If BYU can win the home game against UNM they could be the higher seed. If BYU does win that game, they should go into the LV Invitational as the #1 seed. Which would mean playing SDSU or CSU in the semis while UNLV and UNM play each other. If either BYU or UNM do not make the LV-Invitational finals and the other does, the one that does will likely be the higher seed.
