The ejection was meaningless, because the game was over. This won't be right unless he gets a suspension.

The announcers on KSL said that it's an automatic suspension for one game according the NCAA rulebook.

Rule is.

Art. 2. The first time an individual participates in a fight during the
season (including exhibition games), the individual shall be suspended
from participating in the team’s next regular-season game (not an
exhibition contest), including tournament competition.

Art. 8. After a game, conference offices or the assigning authority may
correct an error about who was involved in a fight but cannot change
an official’s ruling that a fight took place or lessen the severity of the
penalty. The conference office or assigning authority may make those
penalties more severe.

Anyone else think Emery took a dive? It looks like he might have been barely clipped, but the fist certainly didn't land anything substantial. Am I wrong? Were there other angles that they showed?

Emery definitely embellished the swing. But the intent was there. The action was there. The only missing element was a solid connection.

he connected well enough to send jackson to the floor. He got him right across the bridge of the nose and/or eye, it doesn't take that much. I don't think he took a flop.

Yeah, on a flop you have to know the blow/collision is coming in order to sell it. Otherwise there's a slight pause between the blow/collision before the player goes down. I don't think he flopped, since he went down as soon as the blow hit.
