Funny conversation at church on Sunday

Post by vancouvercougar »

Many of my ward members are PAC12 fans--I live in Washington near Oregon. Both the Oregon Duck fan and the UW Husky fan said that Oregon State should be moved to the MWC and BYU should be in the PAC12.

Oregon St does not contribute anything to the PAC however my son attends school there.

BYU all sports, Hawaii football, and Gonzaga Olympic sports to the PAC; show Oregon St. and Washington St. the door.

This would elevate PAC football and basketball. Weed out the two schools that have weak attendance and support and give the PAC complete control of Week 0, the West Coast, and access to the international markets in the Pacific Rim.

NORTH: Washington, Oregon, BYU, Utah, Colorado, Hawaii
SOUTH: UCLA, USC, Stanford, Cal, Arizona, ASU

A straight-up 5-4 schedule still gets everyone in California each year and continues to allow the California schools to play each other annually.

Weed out the worst of PAC basketball and add two of the best western basketball programs - one that is a national contender and one that is top-10 in attendance and support.

Oregon St. and Washington St. to the MWC; Kickout SJSU.

MOUNTAIN: Boise St., Utah St., Wyoming, Colorado St., Air Force, New Mexico
WEST: SDSU, Fresno St., Nevada, UNLV, Washington St., Oregon St.

Unfortunately, it’s the PAC12 folks NOT at church that have the most influence over these decisions.

I know a couple of people that would love to chat with them about going to church.

A better Pac 12 would be

NORTH: Washington, Oregon, BYU, Utah, Colorado, Boise St.
SOUTH: UCLA, USC, Stanford, Cal, San Diego St., ASU

As Arizona and Hawaii ad nothing to the PAC 12 or any where else. Or you could keep it as it is and just add BYU to the south and Boise St. to the north.
