Re: 2018 QB Preview
I'm glad to hear the offense dominated the defense today. The defense was not very good last year, one of the worst passing defenses in the country. If BYU weren't passing easily against them it would be very bad for the offense.

Re: 2018 QB Preview
Excellent updates.
I like the idea of having a bit of in-your-face physicality in spring ball. It helps separate who is willing to go all out, and the team needs some leaders to emerge.
I get the idea of preserving health, but let's face it, we are rebuilding from last year and this is ok.
I wonder who went up against Mo Langi....

This trajectory.snoscythe wrote: ↑Fri Mar 16, 2018 1:16 pmWhat trajectory? Who says he's made a lot of progress? That's kind of the opposite of what I have been hearing -- he's getting shoved all around by even the smallest Olinemen, and he's got EXTREMELY slow feet and reflexes.CrimsonCoug wrote: ↑Fri Mar 16, 2018 1:08 pm Mo's not ready now. But he's only very recently come to the sport and has made a lot of progress in that time. Who's to say that trajectory won't continue?
“Mo is an awesome dude and the fact that he has dropped so much weight makes a difference,” Kaufusi said. “He’s still huge but that guy could drop a hundred pounds and still be the heaviest guy on this team. He’s way faster than he was before, so I just hope he keeps going.”

Not saying he'll play. Not saying he won't. If he learns leverage and improves his speed, he could used in "and inches" plays on either side of the ball, like William Perry.
The problems of the world cannot possibly be solved by skeptics or cynics whose horizons are limited to the obvious realities. We need men who can dream of things that never were and ask, "Why Not?" -JFK & SWK
