From what I've heard, Kaufusi is leaving of his own accord. He's ready to drop a few gears in his work life and make room for his wife to be all in as the new mayor of Provo.

I didn't say fired, because I don't know that he was fired... but I have been involved in "managing" more than one person "out the door" so to speak. That's what this felt like to me (from afar) So I was assuming that that was the scenario and why I said "got rid of."

Rumor says his wife makes over $100,000 as Provo mayor. Maybe it is time to slow down even though he is only 54.
