Jv is right though. Citizens commit crimes. The question is at what rate, compared to illegals, and compared to legal aliens as well.
Illegals cost the government money, but they also fill valuable jobs. The same as citizens. Again, the question is how dramatic are those trade-offs, and how do they compare?
Ok - let's have a serious discussion. I will be respectful. How about, we are all respectful?
First - the Center for Immigration Studies says that deportations of Illegals under Obama (2016) are at a 10 year low. OIS (Office of Immigration Statistics) show deportation numbers are at their lowest since 2006. Deportations are down 73% since 2009.
Neither you or JV has answered my question. The answer is obvious. Yes, Illegal Aliens do commit crimes. Crimes are not traffic infractions. Not all Illegals commit crimes. But, the Illegals that commit crimes are very active.
Next, do Illegal Aliens commit crimes at a greater rate than legal American citizens? It is difficult because local, state, and federal agencies do all they can to keep that data on illegals hidden - by not signing out Illegals. They keep data on Blacks, Hawaiians, Eskimos, Women, Whites, Native Americans, Men, etc - but not Illegals.
One reason the data on Illegal criminal activity is not available is because for 8 years Obama has had an open revolving door policy with Illegals. Essentially, our borders were wide open with the "catch and release" policy.
It's estimated we have 12-15 million illegals in the U.S. (who really knows) Estimated to be about 3.5% of the U.S. population. However, research has shown that Illegals are 3x more likely to be convicted of murder than the general population.
Fox News researched Illegal criminal activity - because they could not get the data from the Feds. They found (remember, Illegals are 3.5% of the population): Illegals are 13.5% of all offenders sentenced for crimes in the U.S., 20% of all kidnapping, 12% of all murders, 16% of all drug trafficking. ICE estimates there are 1.2 million criminal Illegals at large in the U.S.
Contrary to the Obama policy on Illegal Alien criminal activity, Trump signed an Executive Order 6 days ago that he will release a report on Illegal criminal activities weekly.
