Apparently his interest began when he was invited to attend a fireside when BYU last played there.

Yes, I read the same thing. He was impressed with the players' testimonies and began to ask questions. Good on him, and good for the firesides.SpiffCoug wrote:Apparently his interest began when he was invited to attend a fireside when BYU last played there.
Ninety-five percent of the lawyers make the other five percent of us look bad.

Not only just because they held a fireside, but because he was personally called and invited to attend by Bronco.Cougarfan87 wrote:Yes, I read the same thing. I miss the fact that we no longer do firesides.

I was thinking about that. Would you be willing to give up some victories in exchange for people finding the gospel? I would. So maybe we should do more firesides.

Re: Rudy Joins the Church
Here's what will happen--Kalani is taking more risks in recruiting, so we will see some high-profile HC violations/suspensions/expulsions, and then the firesides will come back in response.

I think you are right. Maybe they need more firesides to reduce the risk of HC problems.

Also, BYU football never stopped doing firesides. Now they just aren't the night before the game.

That was the original claim, what have been the exact dates of all the firesides, and who exactly is participating in them? I don't know, so honest question.Mars wrote:Also, BYU football never stopped doing firesides. Now they just aren't the night before the game.
