Search your feelings. You KNOW it to be true. George Lucas never told you what really happened to your special effects, story telling and acting acumen.

Why would Avatar kill younglings?
I'm just a regular, everyday normal guy,
I can't afford a car, I use public transportation,
I don't mind, I read till I reach my destination,
sometimes a newspaper, sometimes a book,
the money I save, this stuff is off the hook,

And THIS is what makes me most excited about it. There is so much great fantasy material to work with.CougarPeasant wrote:This is where movie making is heading and all those fantasy and sci fi stories you loved reading can now be made with realism never before possible in cinema.

Wow, just got back from seeing it with my sons. The 3D version. Maybe it's that I didn't have any real expectations, but that was a great flick. Epic. Best movie I've seen in the theater since The Dark Knight. Highly recommended.

Re: Avatar--3D
So I watched it in the theater (wife begged me to see it)
Basically the moral of the story is: Terrorists have the right to murder Americans because we attacked their holy land.
This was as blunt of an anti-american movie as I have ever seen. Try to cover it up all you want, that's what it is.
Cool graphics, though.
