I read a pretty funny article from a Las Vegas newspaper today about how adding BYU ruins the charm of the WCC. It was totally meant to be serious.

The only downside to joining the WCC is that you could probably fit the seats from the other 8 home gyms (arenas just doesn't sound right) in the Marriott Center. I know Gonzaga has a building that they play in a few times a year in Spokane that seats about 10 to 12k, but its not the Kennel (their on campus facility).

BYU, Gonzaga and Saint Mary's probably are equal to UNM, SDSU, and UNLV. The rest of the conference is heavy toward the the MWC, but it's not about the rest of the conference, its about the top.
