Aiono OG commits to Utah

Aiono's father confirmed his son's decision Wednesday morning and said Utah's upcoming membership in the Pac-10 is a "bonus" for the southern California family.

Says to had a BYU written offer. TBS reported that he wanted one from BYU but there was no room on the line with everyone we had.

I think we are pretty well loaded at line, and to be honest, would rather land Mathews. This was not a must get for BYU and I think they recruited him that way. Best of luck to him all the same.

The ESPN report said Aiono was the best Offensive prospect @ an LA camp. This Aiono kid is a stud.
