Guys the real reason is as plain as day, they were tired of getting the crap kicked out of them by the MWC and decided they needed to bring in some real teams.(if the Tex-odus still plays out.) They couldn't beat us on their own so why not get someone they think could.

Ouch!!! Ha-ha-ha!!! Truth hurts. I think the PAC-10 knew they were a sinking ship w/ the NCAA sanctions against USC. The Trojans were their flagship program. At least threatening a run for a National Championship regularly. Now - banned from bowl appearances for 2 years!!! That hits USC & the PAC-10 right in the pocket book.

ESPN's Joe Schad is reporting that the PAC-10 will offer - this weekend to Texas, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Oklahoma & Oklahoma St.

The reason these 5 schools would accept & join the PAC-10? TV contracts! They have been testing the water & all preliminary discussions point to significantly more $$$ streaming from a new "Super PAC-10" conference.

We'll probably have their answer by Tues. or Wed.
