A Texas A&M Ultimatum? Utah or Kansas to the PAC-16?
Chip Brown of Orangebloods now reports that Texas A&M is strongly considering a jump to the SEC (they have supposedly received an official invite, and a regent is an ex-Alabama head football coach), and that Texas may put them on the clock to make a decision. Texas and Oklahoma have also supposedly received SEC invites, but Texas said "No" and Oklahoma said that they're sticking with Texas.
If A&M bails on the Longhorns -who still plan on leading Texas Tech, OU, and Okie State to the PAC-10 (once Nebraska is gone), Aggies or no Aggies- the PAC-16 will reportedly replace them with Utah or Kansas.

ouch.
My initial impression is that is NOT good news for us.
however, I wouldn't mind replacing Utah with Kansas. Utah's obviously not worried about the rivalry if this is true, so neither can I. And kansas basketball is an amazing upgrade for the conference.
