Re: Game thread - BYU Utah.
Several plays have had two receivers in the same spot. That’s on the coaches. Stupid penalties are on the coaches. Wilson’s decision making has been off a lot. That’s on him.

Tell them to go f*** themselves and they'll leave you alone. It's what I do. You want talk non-rivalry? Sure, let's do it and be friendly. You want to talk rivalry smack. Go to hell.SenorCougar wrote: ↑Thu Aug 29, 2019 11:00 pm Ugly. I have to work with 14 diehard Ute fans for another year. How much is a counseling session?...

Revisionist history. Tanner Mangum was extremely average last year. And the year before he was worse. He had as many INTs as he had TDs his final 2 seasons (13 of each) and his QB rating was only 110.8 and 115.7. That was a significant slide from the previous 2 years. Almost all of the other QBs left from Bronco either transferred to lower division teams or dropped off the team.
RB was even worse depth-wise. I mean they were using LBs as running backs for a bit.

And yet, you still didn't prove your point but proved mine. Maybe moving players all over the offense and defense shows you don't know how to use them. Remember Harvey Langi? Played and languished at DE all year, and then comes in for the final game in 16 and is a beast at inside linebacker (shocker, his natural position). As far as Mangum, he was going to be the next BYU great after 15, in fact you guys were all wanting to bench Taysom Hill for him in 16. I am not revising history, I am pointing out that our coaches are clueless and don't have any idea how to utilize the talent they have. This game proves it. What moron called the play that pulled Wilson from the game in favor of Hall when BYU is on the 8 yard line with 3 yards for a 1st down. REALLY?! REALLY?!!!!Fido wrote: ↑Thu Aug 29, 2019 11:10 pmRevisionist history. Tanner Mangum was extremely average last year. And the year before he was worse. Utah State owns Sitake too. That’s tough to explain.Fido wrote: ↑Thu Aug 29, 2019 11:10 pmRevisionist history. Tanner Mangum was extremely average last year. And the year before he was worse.
