Ok the 1st drive of the 2nd half they passed the ball and scored. KS and Grimes keep throwing the ball. Your QB is 11-11, just keep throwing the dang ball. Forget about ball control it's not working for team today.

2 great stops by the defense come on offense let's score here and be up 21-10. Please don't start running the ball trying to run out the clock.

Wilson is 13-13 and Riley Burt just busted a 37 yard touchdown run. BYU is up 21-10 and looking good. Where is everyone at?

Wilson has been great this game.

Re: Potato Bowl Game thread
I had a screen open watching while working from home. But now I've logged off and can give the game my full attention. The team has looked great in the 2nd half after making adjustments. BYU expected Western Michigan to stop the pass--but they were spending so much effort to stop the run that BYU is going much more with the pass and it completely changed the 2nd half. And the defense has played inspired in the 2nd half shutting them down.
Well until that 55 yard pass just now.

Run blocking has been pretty abysmal. Not sure why. It wasn't like WMU was selling out. Just poor spacing and effort.

► Show Spoiler
Once BYU started throwing in the 2nd half it opened up the running game. Not that BYU ran a lot in the 2nd half but it was enough to keep WM defense honest. The 1st half the whole offense looked uninterestedjvquarterback wrote: ↑Fri Dec 21, 2018 6:07 pm Run blocking has been pretty abysmal. Not sure why. It wasn't like WMU was selling out. 18-18, 317 yards, 4 TD, 0 INT, 10 rushes for 23 yards. Great line by Zach Wilson. He was 1 completion shy of setting the all time consecutive completions record.
