BYU - Weber State
BYU going toe-to-toe with Weber State, or should I say that Weber State is battling hard to stay with BYU despite missing their two best players.
A good game through the first half. Hopefully BYU can outlast them and come away with a comfortable win.

Re: BYU - Weber State
Too close of a game. Still fun to watch. I like watching this team.
Childs struggled, but that block at the end made up for it. The guys seemed half aware.
Hardnett's defense was clutch. We're playing a lot of man defense, which is good. Haven't been able to play man even against teams like Weber in a while.
Between Hardnett and Cannon, we'll have a lot better chance of keeping WCC guards in check.

Good defense makes this team so much more fun to watch than teams in the last few years. Even when nothing is falling into the basket for us, watching the other teams have to work for their shots is so refreshing.

Re: BYU - Weber State
I caught the last 5 minutes or so on BYU tv. I'll take the win but Weber was missing 2 starters. I hope they weren't stars because BYU won by the skin of their teeth. The Harding kid scored 29 points! On the other hand Child's block was important to the win and I liked his double double even if it was 10 & 10. I was happy to see Haws come out of his shooting slump. His points were critica especially his 4 at the line in the last seconds. Overall the team is playing much better team ball. I don't see them crossing the mid line and hucking the ball up. E. Bryant is a shooter but I see him making good passes as well.
I liked the hug between Cannon and his ex coach. I'll bet they're rethinking letting him go.

Ugly game.
I'll be sad if Sno is right and Cannon returns to mediocrity. But as he has been focused on more heavily, Haws has had better games.

Thanks again byufan. I say it every time but I mean it every time. If the importance of a play was factored in Child's last block would have counted double. They game may have been won on that one. He was assisted by Bryant at least it looked like he was on it too. The same may be said about Haws last 4 free throws.
I am hoping they ratchet up things for Utah.
