Miss Valley St
I said that I wanted us to win by 20+ and they won by 30! Obviously we didn't play a real great team but it was nice to see us not play down to their level which has definitely been a problem in the past. Even with a good first half lead we started off the second half very strongly and our backups got some good minutes too. Anyone know why Shaw didn't play?
Here's my PER: Childs didn't have any monster dunks and didn't score a ton, but he still got a great PER! 6 assists and 5 blocks! I love that he didn't really try to force too much and was a willing passer.

I believe they said Shaw had hurt his ankle and may have been wearing a boot. I agree with you about Childs. Winning is what counts. His stats show he's playing a complete game including assisting his teammates. I like Haws' game to with 5 assists and how can you not like Bryant's game. It says in the tweets he set a record for field goal percentage with .909 percent in a season opener. It is too early to tell but this might be one of Roses better teams.

BYU hovered around a 40 point lead for most of the second half, elijah and yeoli on the bench. Good signs for this team. I'm actually excited to see how this team responds to playing good competitive teams.
