QB Austin Kafentzis tranferred to BYU for spring

He signed with Wisconsin, then left after the spring game due to Gary Anderson not staying there. He then landed at Nevada, but never played a down for them being deemed ineligible for that season. So he transferred to Arizona Western last season. He comes in to compete at QB as a sophomore this season.

Tanner would have to struggle pretty badly for a QB controversy to arise, maybe if all our games fall during rainy weather?

Per this article, he is open to a position change. Possibly safety.

Coaches told him they only view him as a QB.Qman wrote:http://www.deseretnews.com/article/8656 ... -fall.html

We go from a few years back where the shelves had gone bare to this point where there are quite a few quality guys slinging the pig skin in Provo. As always, keeping them all happy will be a challenge.

I prefer this rather than the Bronco method of watching them transfer and then hit NFL rosters.EM_Puma wrote:We go from a few years back where the shelves had gone bare to this point where there are quite a few quality guys slinging the pig skin in Provo. So how many transfers ended up on NFL rosters? Frankly the guy who went to SUU is the only one, unless you count Heaps who has landed on some practice squads, but I wouldn't really call that an NFL roster.
