U.S. Punishes Russia Over Election Hacking With Sanctions
Per WSJ
The Obama administration adopted stiff new sanctions against Russia aimed at its top intelligence services and officials in response to Moscow's alleged use of cyberattacks aimed at interfering with November's presidential election.
The targets of the sanctions include Russian government intelligence entities, including the Federal Security Service and the Main Intelligence Directorate, three companies and six individuals. Among the individuals are top officials from the Main Intelligence Directorate, or GRU, and hackers already on the Federal Bureau of Investigation's most-wanted list.
The State Department expelled 35 Russian diplomats from the Russian Embassy in Washington and the Russian Consulate in San Francisco on Thursday. The officials and their families were given 72 hours to leave the U.S.

According to the report, Russia had been conducting cyber-hacking of the U.S. Government from inside the United States during the entirety of Obama's 8-year Presidency.

It's an Obama "dog and pony" show. The reality is, we hack the Russians endlessly. The Russians hack us endlessly. Same with the Chinese, N. Koreans, etc. We even hack and spy on our friends - and they us.
So what triggered this Obama response? Hillary and the Dem's got their a$$es handed to them by Trump.

Obama's primary goal the last four weeks has been to sow a much global and domestic discord as possible so as to leave as many large and complex problems as possible for the incoming administration.

Yeah, here's Obama giving Russian President Medvedev hell. He's always been tough on Russia eh? What's that about telling Medvedev he'll have more "flexibility" after the election in 2012?scott715 wrote:Gee thanks Prez. What a nice guy.
