Re: Moving to Utah, but where?
Well, it looks like I'll be moving to Utah as well! I just got a job offer for a job in Salt Lake City right by the airport. They're giving me a nice relocation package which they originally were not going to. I haven't accepted it yet (just got the offer today) but it will be hard to turn this down!

Congratulations! I know a few guys who will enjoy getting together.byufan4ever wrote:Well, it looks like I'll be moving to Utah as well! May I suggest looking near the Eagle Mountain area for housing

I've looked a little bit online and I love the newer houses in Eagle Mountain and you get a lot of house for the $$. However, Google Maps has it at a 50 minute drive to the airport and realtor.com has rated the schools lowly (which may be inaccurate.)hawkwing wrote:Congratulations! I really would love to hear more about where in Utah CougarCorner fans live and where the good school districts are.
Also, some years ago in an attempt to get me to move to the Utah / Idaho area my in-laws promised they would get me BYU season tickets. So now I need to make them pay up and decide on football or basketball!!

Eagle Mountain to the airport is 50 minutes right now, but they are extending the Mountain View Corridor down to Eagle Mountain and that will improve times, I think. I don't blame you for wanting to look closer though, that's understandable. Just keep it in mind
Also when are each of you going to be in Utah?

Targeting an end of January date for me. Entire family going. And I'm liking West Jordan and South Jordan right now. Although my favorite house that I've seen online is near Alpine in the Lone Peak school area. My wife just doesn't understand why that is awesome...

Live as close to work as you can. An extra 90 minutes with your kids each day is worth more than any school district or view or anything else. I'm not slamming anyone for making that decision. Just my opinion.

Re: Moving to Utah, but where?
While looking for homes in Utah online I came across this one on Provo. There's something very very wrong with it...
