If Kalani gets the job, there's a name for DC no one is talking about, that I think would a real shock, but a very high probability, is Morgan Scalley. I know, he hates us. But he was passed over for the DC job at Utah that everyone thought he'd get.
If Morgan scalley was hired at BYU for any reason, I think I have to rethink my loyalties to BYU.

Does anyone know why Lance Anderson isn't being considered a stronger possibility than Sitake? He and Ken Nuimatalolo are my two favorite choices. Why not K.N. As HC and L.A. As DC? That could be pretty sweet recruiting wise, right?! 8)

I think he is lower on the list due to lack of ties to BYU.

As far as I could tell, DuPaix hadn't been hired anywhere. I didn't see him on Navy's website either. Though Pehrson Sr. and Pehrson Jr. are reportedly both very interested in following Ken if he goes. That might rule out other DC options though.

I hadn't put Sarkisian or Scalley on my list because I thought they were long-shots (like Mike Leach or Andy Reid). Maybe I should have.

John Beck, I've been told, doesn't want a coaching job now, or maybe ever. Same for other ex-Pros, maybe. Navy fans say Ivin Jasper isn't interested in leaving Annapolis.

Odd fact of the day: When Gary Crowton was hired back in 2000, Andy Reid was the runner-up for the job.

If ties to BYU help the resume, I think that's pure crap.
What successful coaches at BYU have had ties to BYU?
