A look at all 13 former BYU Cougars who played in the NFL this year.

30 NFL teams, with rosters of 53 each (45 active, 8 on reserve squad). That totals 1.590 NFL players per year. Of those, only 13 were from BYU. As a point of reference for programs we might compare ourselves to, Boise State had 15, BC had 20, Utah had 21, UCLA had 20. Nevada-Reno had 10. UNC had 26. NC STAte 16. Notre Dame had 27.

IF you compare our numbers to BCS level schools, we are on the mid-low end. That has to change if BYU is serious about winning at the highest level. We need to develop more top tier talents. Geeze, ND doubled us, and we all talk about how much they suck.

When our schedules get tougher, we better be ready for it.

BYU isn't as talented as the fan base thinks. I think that Bronco is slowly changing that, it is still a work in progress.
