Gordon Hayward

Discussion for professional sporting events/teams and players.

This would be a great place to discuss the Super Bowl, the NBA Playoffs or whatever else.

Gordon Hayward

Post by Yndian »

Pretty much won the game for the Jazz tonight. Outplayed Kobe, made the winning free throw and played good defense on the last shot.

Signs of life!

Why haven't the rookies been playing more, again?

Hate it when I go to espn.com to see highlights and it's all Lakers, then at the end "oh, but they came up short and lost the game." How does the winning team not do anything worth showing on the highlight reel?

I'm just a regular, everyday normal guy,
I can't afford a car, I use public transportation,
I don't mind, I read till I reach my destination,
sometimes a newspaper, sometimes a book,
the money I save, this stuff is off the hook,

What has ESPN said about THE JIMMER winning the Naismith award?

Where the hell am I going and why am I in this handbasket?

Video of Elder Hayward throwing it down (notice Kobe whining like a baby because he got screened):

Eh, all the Laker starters played under 35 mins for the game... I want to see Gordon play as well as anyone, but this game doesn't mean anything. It doesn't show me anything.

And it's not like it's hard to posterize Kobe. He's an average defender, nothing more. And he's nearly 100 years old. Whatever energy he has left he saves for the offensive side of the ball. He is the Jimmer of the NBA.

yeah, that was last year. Kobe is a different player this year.

He has been a great defender. He is now a "good" to "average" defender depending on the night.
