Re: Jimmer to the NBA?
Would love it if Jimmer found a team that knows how to play him, and he comes back hungry and aggressive. I think he was a little shell shocked the first year of the NBA and never got out of that slump. He's found his stride again in China. hopefully that can translate to success in NBA.

Re: Jimmer to the NBA?
For Jimmer to be Jimmer, a team would have to concede a tremendous amount of ball usage and shots to a guy who's had a shot with four other NBA teams already. His one realistic shot at getting that was in Sacto, which never materialized.
I just don't see anyone making that kind of commitment to Jimmer at this point in his career.

Re: Jimmer to the NBA?
He would need a Jeremy Lin type of situation, where he signs as the 3rd PG and then, due to long term injuries to the players in front of him, the team is forced to give him the reins to the team and then he just lights it up for a fairly extended stretch of games.
BYU PER W/L Since 1972: 432-76 (.850)

Again, Sacramento was his best option for this. He was on the floor a lot that rookie year. Tough spot to be in with I. Thomas gunning for his spot.SpiffCoug wrote:He would need a Jeremy Lin type of situation, where he signs as the 3rd PG and then, due to long term injuries to the players in front of him, the team is forced to give him the reins to the team and then he just lights it up for a fairly extended stretch of games.

Correct. But since that option is now passed, he would need another option, similar to the one I outlined.BroncoBot wrote:Again, Sacramento was his best option for this.
