BYU/Utah State players star in Grey Cup (CFL Championship)
This may be better placed in the Cougars in the Pros section but anyways. The Montreal Alouettes won the 97th Grey Cup 28-27 over the Saskatchewan Roughriders today. There have been many current and historic connections between these two teams and Utah sports, BYU in particular. Past players for Saskatchewan have included Ray Elgaard who played collegiately for the 's (thats enough of them now), Steve Sarkisian and Shay Muirbrook and Omarr Morgan plays currently for the team. I won't mention by name another former kicker for the SNOT who also plays. Montreal had former Cougar Neal Fort on the offensive line for close to a decade and currently has Utah State alum Anthony Calvillo at QB and possibly the greatest receiver in the history of the CFL in Ben Cahoon who tonight set a record for most pass receptions in Grey Cup history. If Cahoon plays one more season he will likely top the all time receptions list. He currently has 950 career catches over 12 years for 12,586 yards. The current record is 1006 catches. Congrats to Cahoon and the Alouettes!

It's amazing to me that Cahoon is still playing, and at such a high level. That guy has had a ridiculously great career.
