NFL Combine
Fangupo is projected 4th round http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/ds ... &genpos=DT" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Reynolds is project 5th round http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/ds ... &genpos=ot" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I think the combine starts tomorrow.

Re: NFL Combine
Reynolds sure dropped like an anchor, didn't he? At one point he was a sure-thing 1st-rounder.
Hmm... who runs the off-season workouts at BYU again?

Re: NFL Combine
Reynolds didn't drop because of his offseason workouts. It was his in-season play, which was less than stellar or dominant.
Of course, if he puts up good numbers this weekend, he will certainly climb. In which case, the off-season workout manager might be doing a good job.

You don't think the two are related?SpiffCoug wrote: Reynolds didn't drop because of his offseason workouts. It was his in-season play, which was less than stellar or dominant.
Jake Heaps does.

Re: NFL Combine
Good point. Might have something to do with the improved OL play in the latter half of the season as well.Mars wrote:You don't think the two are related?SpiffCoug wrote: Reynolds didn't drop because of his offseason workouts. It was his in-season play, which was less than stellar or dominant.

Worked out great for Heaps too, to go his own training route. I've never seen a better season performance!SpiffCoug wrote:Good point. Re: NFL Combine
I was just checking out the combine results. Fangupo rocked the bench press. He's tied for second among DLs and tied for 3rd overall. He's quite slow in all the speed and agility tests.
Reynolds is about midlevel in most the tests. Certainly not impressive enough to bump him up any draft boards
