That's about the same ratio by which New Mexico will beat Montana's basketball team.

There is no reason for Montana to have such a bad lacrosse team this year. They were a powerhouse for many years and have more school support than almost any other MCLA team. We got to play in their very nice football stadium every time we'd travel up there.

Big day for BYU lacrosse as they got to play IN Husky Stadium at the University of Washington. They trounced the Huskies by a final score of 16-7, nice job Cougs! Next game is on Saturday vs the Canadians of Simon Fraser University.

BYU survived a scare from Sonoma State, pulling off the victory 9-8. They play the Utards, to whom they have never lost, today (Saturday) at 7:00 pm at Juan Diego High School.

#4 BYU kept it close for a half but couldn't pull off the upset of #3 CSU. Final score: Rams 10-Cougars 5.

Provo will play host to the RMLC (Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference) tournament next week, with both Divisions playing and local teams including #4 BYU, #17 Utah, #4 UVU (D-2), and #6 Westminster (D-2). Good luck to the Cougars and Wolverines!

Cougars drop a close one to the Colorado Buffs, 14-11. They will meet in a rematch in the first round of the RMLC tournament on Friday, April 30, at 7:00 pm on the BYU North Fields. There will be lots of lacrosse there all weekend, including UVU playing their games on Thursday at 4, Friday at 10 am, and Saturday at 1:30. Get your butt outside this weekend and catch the best lacrosse West of the Mississippi.

Cougs avenge their loss to CU but then can't pull off the upset in the championship game vs CSU. Cougs will be playing in the national tournament as an at-large team in Denver in two weeks.

On a side note, the UVU Wolverines won the RMLC Div II championship, avenging their only loss of the season by pummeling the Westminster Griffins 18-10. They will also be in Denver in two weeks to play as an AQ in the Div II national tournament.
