Good weekend for BYU. With LMU losing to Gonzaga yesterday BYU clinches at the very least a piece of the WCC regular season championship. They play 3 games against Gonzaga this week and only need to win one of them to take the championship outright. The way they're playing you'd have to make them the favorites to win the tournament.

Lost first game won 2 today. Will play GU tomorrow for the championship.

P.S. Going into that 3-game series against Gonzaga to end the regular season, BYU was 3 games ahead of them in conference play. BYU went 0-3. Weak mentally when it mattered most, again, in another sport in Provo.

Now they need to beat Gonzaga twice in a row in the tournament. I'm not feeling good about our odds.
