Ok, I just checked the MLB website. The rule for college players is either 21 years old or completed jr. year. Sophomores at BYU tend to be older than 21. However, this may disqualify Colton Shaver since he didn't go on a mission. So good news for BYU there.

We won again last night though I did not see the game. The ESPN3 would not let me login. I have had a lot of issues with that. We are currently tied with GU for first and we have the tie breaker on them. SM plays today. They need to lose so that we keep the 1 seed. Next up is a 4 team playoff.
GU RPI 29, BYU 47, SM 71.

Good job Cougars! First regular season conference championship since 2001. I like having Gonzaga first instead of St. Mary's so we don't have to face that pitcher from SMC projected to go in the first or second round of the draft next month.

Gonzaga has the best RPI in the WCC.

Who will print our Co-Co-Champions shirts!?

Sure, as a team the zags have a higher RPI. but as BlueK pointed out, SMC's pitcher is incredible. Also glad to be facing the zags.

Season over! They were pretty bad against Gonzaga tonight. Strikeout after strikeout (17, to be exact). There's no way after that performance that they get an at-large bid. Okay, they still have a chance in the losers bracket, but not really. Remember, they lost two out of three to both the other teams.

Agreed, ugly way to end the year.

This has been BYU's story this year, pretty good and exciting at times but ultimately too flashy and too little substance.
