The Cougars remain at #2 in the latest poll.

They will travel to USU Thursday to take on the Aggies, then they'll host Simon Fraser at SOUTH FIELD STADIUM @ 7 pm on FRIDAY, APRIL 3 (great chance to see some good lacrosse).

Schmoe almost got tossed from his HS lacrosse game today. His team lost 9-8. The opposing team had a goal that bounced the goalie's helmet down his back and into the net.

Schmoe's team was being pushed around all over the field and then his team got called for a lot of ticky-tack fouls. I thought I was watching Jimmer play UNLV for a while there.

The Cougars played like the best MCLA team in the country this week (which they are), rolling over Division-II #19 Utah St, 24-7, and then pummeling #25 Simon Fraser, 20-9.

Up next: The Cougars face their toughest weekend of the season when they play conference foes and MCLA powerhouses #11 CSU and #6 Colorado back-to-back this Thursday and Friday, respectively.

Colorado was ranked #1 for most of the season before inexplicably dropping three games in a row. CSU has been in the top five all season long before a four game skid at the beginning of March. The Cougars will need to play their best both days if they want to stay undefeated in conference play. The pressure's on as wins this weekend likely would vault the Cougars into the No. 1 spot with only three games left to play.

"In the waning seconds of the game with CSU up one, BYU came out of a timeout and got a great look at the cage, sending a shot that the CSU goalie couldn’t get to, but the ball ricocheted off the pipe and bounded back up field, eventually making its way out of bounds and the officials awarded the ball to the Rams. CSU was then able to bleed the last thirty seconds away and secure the 12-11 upset victory."

BYU will play No. 6 Colorado tonight. The Buffs also lost by one goal yesterday playing at No. 19 Westminster.

"The No. 6 Colorado Buffaloes escaped from Provo with a 16-15 win over No. 2 BYU Cougars on Friday night. The game was close throughout with with each team taking turns with a lead."
