The Cougars ran past in-state rivals UVU, 14-5, and :utard: , 18-6, and are now awaiting post-season play. The Cougs are still ranked at No. 3 behind Colorado (No. 2) and undefeated Arizona State (No. 1).

BYU will travel to Colorado to play in the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference tournament after which they will be headed to SoCal for the national tourney (granted they get selected).

Bracket update: No. 3 BYU will travel to Grand Junction to play the winner of the Utah State @ Colorado State (VERY likely CSU) on May 2 at 4:00 pm in the semifinals of the RMLC tournament. If they win, they'll play the winner of Colorado vs Utah/Westminster the next day, May 3, at 7:00 pm.

The last time these two met: BYU grabbed an early one-goal lead, held the lead for three quarters, and then pulled away in the fourth for the 10-7 victory.

CSU lost to No. 1 ASU by a single goal, 4-5, No. 2 Colorado by three, 9-6, and No. 5 Chapman by a single goal, 5-6.

BYU is currently riding an eight-game win streak that started with their victory over CSU in the regular season.

You can purchase a "virtual ticket" to stream the games live here (near the bottom of the page): http://mcla.us/playoffs/2014/RMLC/1/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

BYU takes down No. 5 Colorado State 10-7 to advance to the RMLC conference finals. The Cougs are now a virtual lock for the national tourney and will take on No. 2 Colorado for the RMLC crown tomorrow at 7 pm.

Way to go team. Sounded like a tight game early.

It was. In fact, at the very beginning it was tied 0-0 ;)

Thanks Schmoe. I've been in an all weekend meeting (still going on). I saw the tweet 1-1 end of the first quarter I belief. Sounded like a defensive battle at that point.

I think it was 0-2 at the end of the first. 1-7 in the middle of the second quarter, not looking good.

4-7 at the half. Lacrosse is a game of momentum and the Cougs appear to have it.

After falling behind early and scrapping, clawing, and scratching to get back into the game, the Cougars ran out of steam and fell to No. 2 Colorado, 8-15.

Now BYU will wait to see what seed they'll get in the national tourney (should be top 4).
