After the conclusion of the WCC men's and women's golf championships, as well as the men's and women's tennis regular season, Brigham Young has increased its lead to 11.5 points in the race for the 2012-13 West Coast Conference Commissioner's Cup - awarded annually to the WCC institution garnering the most success during conference play. By earning 25 total points in the sports of men's and women's golf and tennis, the Cougars have earned 71.0 Cup points through April's competition. Santa Clara University has climbed into second place overall with 59.5 points after winning a share of the women's tennis regular season championship.

The next update in the race for the Commissioner's Cup will come after the women's rowing championship, held May 18 in Gold River, Calif.

San Diego has captured an unprecedented five straight WCC Commissioner's Cups.

Last year SD won the rowing and they are a couple of spots ahead of us in baseball. It will be close to hang on to the top spot. Santa Clara took last in rowing last year. They won't be passing us.

Anae just might be the guy. Wisconsin DC says Anae is totally unpredictable because he just runs a bunch of plays with no rhyme or reason. Whooped Butt on Houston DC for 3 of 4 quarters. Destroyed Texas DC and HC careers.

3 games left against SMC. Win 2 and we are in. Win 1 and probably tied for 4th.

With the sweep we took 3rd but SD was 2nd. They took 2nd in rowing. I think we have won the cup by 4 points. SD has won like 5 years in a row. The announcement should come next week.
