California travel ban.

Post by BroncoBot »

https://www.sbnation.com/college-footba ... travel-ban

Have you guys seen this?

California is implementing travel ban to Alabama, Kansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, and Texas due to "discrimination" in said states.

"Texas Gov. Greg Abbott this month signed a law that allows child welfare providers to deny services because of “sincerely held religious beliefs,” a provision that critics interpreted as permitting adoption agencies to deny services to gay families.

Alabama and South Dakota were added to California’s list of banned states because of similar adoption-related laws. The California Department of Justice said Kentucky’s Senate Bill 17 allows student-run organizations in schools to discriminate against classmates.

The California law includes exemptions for law enforcement officers, tax auditors and training events that are required for grants. California’s tax-collecting Board of Equalization has an office in Houston."

ha ha. What a utterly stupid world we live in. Does california have any idea (yes, they do) how many tax payer dollars are going to unethical practices in their own state? The absurdity of this is simply unreal.

So California is basically saying individuals are no longer allowed to have "sincerely held religious beliefs" with which they don't agree.

Want to know why Trump won? This is why. Liberal, costal elites think they know better than the rest of us how we should be living our lives.

And will be damned if they can't control some aspect of it. Even with his warts, I'm so relieved that Trump staved off the liberal attack for 4 years. If nothing else it is forcing the left to show that they are the more violent, hateful, bigoted group. Can't conservatives in CA find a single judge willing to block this (since that seems to be the game these days)?

This topic continues to press on and will because there are so many in this country that have the same viewpoint as those being expressed in California. It's just a matter of time.

It's sad that a solution can not be found in this discussion and that it seems that those with the power in their hands can make policy for everyone. I guess we try to enjoy things the way they are as they will continue to grow dimmer. I'm not naturally a pessimist, but based on these last five years, it doesn't seem that the one side will capitulate until everything is their way, because there has been no one that can stop them from taking that position.

Seems like a reciprocal law should be enacted nationwide. Anyone that California or any other state bans is automatically banned by every other state.

Sort of a counter boycott.
