240 years ago Great Britain attacked us. We have no allies from the British Isles. What's the statute of limitations on these things?

It also looks like the SecDef and personal friend of POTUS (Robert McNamara) was similarly not an ally. But then, he seems to have made an entire career out of lying to the American people about the military.

I'll bite. What does Israel do for the US that warrants the animosity of the entire middle east? What was it doing for the US in 1967 to justify the cover up of their attack on the US Navy?

Here's a hint, there's more to the animosity the middle east has for the USA than just support for Israel.

I have no idea why they attacked us in 1967. I have no idea why we covered it up.

You didn't address the question. What has Israel ever brought to the US as an ally?

Of course the middle easterners harbor ill will over more than Israel. The US has been orchestrating coups and setting up dictators there since the modern state of Israel came to existence. The US has directly caused the deaths of millions in Iraq and is working with allies throughout the area to cause the deaths of many more from Yemen to Lybia.

Israel attacked the US Navy for one of two reasons. You can go read up on it to see which one is more likely. The important fact is they aren't and never have been an ally. We're only their useful idiots.
