I do not in any way agree with the criminal in Quebec, however he is in Canada and not associated with the anti president riots. I do not agree with Mr. Trump offering attorney fees for violence and advocating it but I am not aware of any of this coming to fruition. I do agree with you that these acts of terrorism are appalling. While it is hard to impossible to quantify acts of violence or terrorism it appears that at this time and in the U S A, there is more than 10 times these acts coming from the left/liberals than any other source.

This next is not in reference to what you said BoiseByu. It is ironic that the democrats and liberals, for the most part, are anti second amendment and often refer to gun owners as leaning toward violence. At this time, they seem to be significantly more violent than lawful gun owners.

I agree with you on all counts. Right now it does seem like the violent people are those attacking conservative ideas, people, and principles. It is so wrong. I hope they are stopped and held accountable. It breaks my heart. I would just plead with all to not lump all liberals, democrats, etc into that group. I'm not really a democrat or a liberal, but I have dear family members and friends who are and they are good Americans.

Unfortunately, your dear family members and friends need to find a way to change their party, because the Democrat Party is violently shifting to the Left and they will soon find themselves without a home in that party if they don't ascribe to the violent revolution and overthrow of our society these progressives want.

My father was a hardcore democrat -he left the party when they turned left. Ronald Reagan was the democrat party chairman for the state of Calif - he left when they made a turn left. Charles Krauthammer was a democrat - he left when he realized their promises and policies don't work.

You can be a good person - and make foolish choices. We've all been there.

Attributed to Winston Churchill: "If You Are Not a Liberal at 25, You Have No Heart. If You Are Not a Conservative at 35 You Have No Brain."

Here is a video at an airport of liberal anti-ban protestor attacking pro-ban counter-protestors. As the counter-protestors try to walk away and escape they are attacked. One person is viciously attacked and knocked out cold with a sucker punch.

Watch the video the see the aggressive and violent nature of the left -

I understand. I'm not certain that the violent wing will take over, but I didn't think the Trump wing would take over the Republicans either, so it shows what I know. I think the family members I was referring to are "a la carte" Democrats for the most part. Some parts of what democrats have worked for they like, and some, perhaps even more, they don't. But to each their own. I rejected being either a democrat or a republican a while ago and am more comfortable being an independent and supporting policies that make sense to me, regardless of which party's they are.

The time is rapidly approaching when you will have to make a choice. Me personally, I choose to stand with the Constitution and consider myself Conservative and align myself with the GOP. There is 1 political party that stands by the Constitution - and has the ability to win elections. That is important - winning elections.

The democrats are masters at talking a wonderful game of propaganda. They paint marvelous word pictures of lemon drops, rainbows, sunshine, happiness, candy canes and prosperity for all. It's all crap. It's Socialism, and Fascist to boot made palatable with nice words.

I don't toss the word Fascist around lightly - but it applies to modern democrats.

Websters definition of Fascist:
1. "a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition."

2. "a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control <early instances of army fascism and brutality"

Now - let's take definition #1 and substitute 2 words.
1. "a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often their philosophy above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition."

That is todays democrat party. Make no mistake - the democrat party's Obamacare is a Fascist Socialist move with the penalties, coercion, severe economic and social regimentation - using the weight of the federal govt, and the IRS to enforce it.

The democrats used the IRS to use "forcible suppression of opposition" with the Tea Party folks. It has never happened in the history of the U.S. Make no mistake, even with all his smiles and affable demeanor, Obama was a heavy handed Fascist cloaked in sheep's clothing.

The violent wing is already taking over. The Jim Webb's of the party are being marginalized. The violent strains of Black Lives Matter and the similar rhetoric of Elizabeth Warren are now the mainstream.

I too left the GOP back in May as I didn't want to have Trump be the face of my political association.

I'm tired of identity politics (the Democrats) and party loyalty politics. Just give me policies that work. The new immigration policy was poorly executed. I wish we as a nation cared more about our policies working than whether they were popular or gave our party more power.

You don't even have to replace any words. Social Justice is all about reducing individuals to their racial groups and then seeking "justice" for the group instead of the individual. If an individual is a member of a certain group they are entitled to "justice" whether they've earned it or not.

I see things very similar to you. If there's one thing I have been feeling more strongly about all the time, it is to listen to the prophets and stay on their side
