I'd like to see some Senators push him on that. On the 10th Circuit he was bound by cases such as Terry and had to apply them to this context. On the SCOTUS bench, he can ignore, adjust, uphold, or do whatever he wants with prior SCOTUS precedents as the Constitution and constitutional laws are his bounds.
