I am very happy to have respectful, genuine discussions. Having a respectful discussion is a 2 way street. The door swings both ways. You seem to forget that.

Why don't you answer the question? Do any illegal aliens commit any crime? It's a simple question. Yes or no.

This was done in a field in town (less than 5 minutes from our homes) with wall tents and wood stoves. The Klondike will be in the mountains with no cell coverage in unheated dome tents. Nevertheless, I had a scout who was warm all night, but when it came time to get out of his sleeping bag didn't want to put on his "cold" pants and didn't want to take off his boots to replace his athletic socks with wool socks. He had snow pants that he refused to put on. So he wandered around the campsite in longjohns and wet cotton socks for an hour, refusing to make the simple changes to make himself warm "put on your wool socks", "put on your snow pants". He eventually called his mom to come pick him up right when it was time to start breaking camp.

Unfortunately, I can't say this is an isolated incident or even limited to this one kid, and this is coming from a very blue-collar community where hard work and toughness are supposed to be emphasized. It's not as bad as it has been in past, more affluent wards, but it just makes it clear that parents are raising a nation of quitters without work ethic.
Here's a story you won't believe. I was told this last week.

A friend of mine runs (raises) Black Angus cattle in Utah. His daughter is married to a successful guy what lives in Alpine. She has 4 kids. 2 boys 2 girls. They range in age from 6 to 14.

Anyway, this last Fall he gave a full, butchered beef to his daughter and her family. It was professionally wrapped and labeled.

About a month after he delivered the beef, he called his daughter and asked her how they are enjoying it. She said - "It's great, but, the kids are freaking out." She cooked a roast, and they freaked when they say a bone in the roast. The kids would not eat the roast. They have never seen a bone in any meat. The mom has always bought boneless meat.

Don't worry about it. Some people are just too dense to realize what their arguments really mean. We can always try it again. See:

Yes. So does your Grandma. Kick her out the next time she breaks the speed limit or forgets to turn on her blinker while changing lanes and then your argument holds water.

Now you are showing how ignorant you are. There is a Monstrous difference between a traffic infraction and criminal activity.

Do you understand that?

If you want to have a serious discussion we'll have it. If you want to trade childish barbs - game on.

Confused. Dense. Ignorant. Yes, the insults seem to be going both ways.

Jv is right though. Citizens commit crimes. The question is at what rate, compared to illegals, and compared to legal aliens as well.

Illegals cost the government money, but they also fill valuable jobs. The same as citizens. Again, the question is how dramatic are those trade-offs, and how do they compare?

Ok - let's have a serious discussion. I will be respectful. How about, we are all respectful?

First - the Center for Immigration Studies says that deportations of Illegals under Obama (2016) are at a 10 year low. OIS (Office of Immigration Statistics) show deportation numbers are at their lowest since 2006. Deportations are down 73% since 2009.

Neither you or JV has answered my question. The answer is obvious. Yes, Illegal Aliens do commit crimes. Crimes are not traffic infractions. Not all Illegals commit crimes. But, the Illegals that commit crimes are very active.

Next, do Illegal Aliens commit crimes at a greater rate than legal American citizens? It is difficult because local, state, and federal agencies do all they can to keep that data on illegals hidden - by not signing out Illegals. They keep data on Blacks, Hawaiians, Eskimos, Women, Whites, Native Americans, Men, etc - but not Illegals.

One reason the data on Illegal criminal activity is not available is because for 8 years Obama has had an open revolving door policy with Illegals. Essentially, our borders were wide open with the "catch and release" policy.

It's estimated we have 12-15 million illegals in the U.S. (who really knows) Estimated to be about 3.5% of the U.S. population. However, research has shown that Illegals are 3x more likely to be convicted of murder than the general population.

Fox News researched Illegal criminal activity - because they could not get the data from the Feds. They found (remember, Illegals are 3.5% of the population): Illegals are 13.5% of all offenders sentenced for crimes in the U.S., 20% of all kidnapping, 12% of all murders, 16% of all drug trafficking. ICE estimates there are 1.2 million criminal Illegals at large in the U.S.

Contrary to the Obama policy on Illegal Alien criminal activity, Trump signed an Executive Order 6 days ago that he will release a report on Illegal criminal activities weekly.

The Israeli security wall is 8 meters, or 25 feet high. I suggest the Israeli's know a thing or two about security. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tweeted to Pres. Trump the following:

"President Trump is right. I built a wall along Israel's southern border. It stopped all illegal immigration. Great success. Great idea."
