Re: Trump a disaster for the Nation and Republicans
There are many fairly deep-rooted reasons why Trump is very unpopular among LDS. This article tries to explain why to a non-LDS audience. It's crazy that he could very well not even carry utah in the general election. The world has gone wacko.

Hilary clinton is not only the lowest politician in this race she is as low as anyone I've ever seen run for this office. This includes Trump.

Hillary's very unfavorable rating is currently at an all-time high for a presidential candidate at 37%.
So Republicans want to counter with Trump who clocks in at a mind-blowing 53%....

Re: Trump a disaster for the Nation and Republicans
To anyone voting for The Donald, I wish you good luck. I won't be voting for The Donald.
I'm done compromising my principles to vote for the "guy who can win."
Dole who wasn't a real conservative but he was the guy who could win in 96 (my first election), so we were told to vote for him.
Bush wasn't a real conservative, but he could win so we were told to vote for him.
McCain wasn't a real conservative, but we were told he was the guy who could win so we were told to vote for him.
Romney wasn't a real conservative, but we were told he was the guy who could win, so we were told to vote for him.
The Donald isn't a real conservative, but we are told he is the only guy who could possibly beat the worst candidate ever, so we're going to be told to vote for him.
I'm done doing that. Conservatives have held their noses too many times to vote for for non-conservatives. And then we wonder why those same non-conservatives don't vote conservatively and go back on conservative campaign promises.
We shouldn't be surprised that people we send to Congress compromise their principles and don't fight for conservative principles when we compromise our principles and don't fight for conservative principles by sending them there in the first place.
The Donald is my line in the sand. Never again will I compromise my principles and vote for someone who doesn't represent what I want from a politician.

Re: Trump a disaster for the Nation and Republicans
Bush actually ran as a conservative. Too bad he was a liar and oversaw, what to date was the biggest expansion of government spending since the end of WWII.
I was hoping Romney would turn out like his father who finally spoke out about how the generals of his time misled the people and politicians about Vietnam (like they mislead us about the middle east today). We'll never know if Romney was a conservative or not.
